Pride of place for Golf Pride

Golf Pride claims to be the leading grip brand at the US PGA 2014 Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, with 26 out of 30 (87 percent) players competing in the FedEx Cup Finals using Golf Pride grips.

Of those playing Golf Pride, 20 players used the popular Tour Velvet family of grips in the hunt for the FedEx Cup’s $10 million payout. In addition, four players in the field used the New Decade MultiCompound family of grips. Golf pride says New Decade MultiCompound offers hybrid grip performance with high performance rubber in the lower hand providing feel and responsiveness, while brushed cotton technology cord gives improved traction to the upper hand.

Brandon Sowell, global sales and marketing director for Golf Pride said, “With all of the players who control their own destiny in Atlanta putting their game in Golf Pride’s hands, we are excited to see how the FedEx Cup playoffs will conclude. One thing is for certain, with all that is on the line this weekend, these players will not be risking their success with worn grips. Amateurs should take note, because golfers of all skill levels can benefit from having the better performance and feel that fresh grips provide.” More at www.golfpride.com
