PowaKaddy announces new sales agent for Northern and Southern Ireland

PowaKaddy has appointed Morrow Golf Leisure Ltd as the company’s new sales agent for Northern and Southern Ireland, effective immediately.

Operated by Roger Morrow, the announcement comes as long-serving Area Sales Manager, Alan Paterson, retires from the role after 21 years of service to PowaKaddy.

“We are very pleased to welcome Roger to the team,” commented PowaKaddy CEO David Catford. “He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the golf industry and we have no doubt that he will be a very valuable asset to our business going forward.

“At the same time, we would like to wish Alan all the best with his retirement and thank him for everything that he has done for PowaKaddy over the years.”

Morrow, 38, began his career in the golf industry with Ping Europe in 2000 as a Sales & Demo Technician, before being promoted to Area Sales Manager after 18 months – a role which eventually saw him managing more than 150 accounts across both Northern and Southern Ireland.

He held this position up until December 2019 when he handed in his notice to start his own business, Morrow Golf & Leisure Ltd, utilising the existing relationships he had built up over the previous 19 years of his career.

“Morrow Golf Leisure Ltd is delighted to add PowaKaddy to its existing portfolio and feel that the brand is a natural fit,” commented Morrow. “I am delighted to welcome such a strong brand and market leader in its field into my business.

“I look forward to working with the company to increase its market share here in Ireland and help take the brand to ever higher heights.

“I have personally used PowaKaddy products for many years and it’s great to have confidence in what you are selling. I look forward to a long and successful partnership together.”
