Fujikura graphite shafts were used in the winners driver and fairway wood for the latest PGA Tour event at Hilton Head Island.
During the tournament, Fujikura driver shafts were chosen by a total of 34% of the field. This included the eventual winner in South Carolina who used a VENTUS Blue 6X in his driver and the brand new VENTUS Blue TR 7X in his fairway wood. This is the first win on the PGA Tour for a player using VENTUS TR. The new VENTUS TR was launched on Tour in January. It features a mid-launch profile designed specifically to stiffen torque in the section of the shaft where golfers need it most, leading to increased stability and consistency. TR is a new addition to the popular VENTUS line.
Following on from the first Major of the year, this was the seventh driver shaft win in a row on the PGA Tour for Fujikura shafts. Out of the 27 events on the PGA Tour this season, this is Fujikura’s 15th driver shaft win.
