Golf teaching professionals are being offered incentives to use and sell digital training aid TALON. PGA professionals can sign up to be promoted on the Ojee Golf website as ‘Ojee Accredited Professionals’ and ‘Official Ojee Golf Distributors’ for exclusively designated areas, allowing golfers from their region to book 20-minute TALON calibration sessions for just £15.
TALON is a digital display unit that attaches to the grip of any golf club and, using patent-pending technology, delivers real-time quantified, visual feedback on any golfer’s angles of address. The sessions will allow golfers to engage with the TALON and their teaching professional in a positive, hands-on experience to discover their optimal angles of address, before making a decision to purchase a TALON.
Ojee Golf chief executive and product designer Matt Hulbert said: “We are delighted to be able to work with PGA professionals by making them ambassadors of the TALON. Golf is all about repetition and consistency and our goal has always been to bring golf posture into the 21st century; we feel that by working with a qualified teaching professional, golfers will be able to understand the fundamentals of their golf setup before going out on their own to put in the requisite practice with their TALON.”
Kevin Jackson, head PGA professional at Ramside Hall Golf Club and Academy, added: “I have been using the TALON as a teaching aid during my lessons, and seen how factual information and feedback at address can help with the consistency of the golf swing. Sometimes it’s the not knowing that creates doubt and causes changes to the swing – the TALON helps with consistency.”
