PERRY ELLIS EUROPE SUPPORTS EXPONENTIAL SALES GROWTH WITH UK & IRELAND SALES TEAM EXPANSION PLANS

Perry Ellis Europe has announced plans to significantly support the growth in popularity of its Callaway Apparel and Original Penguin Golf brands with two important new sales hires in key areas of its UK and Ireland business.

Original Penguin Golf continues to enjoy a commercial wave of success – doubling its business last year – following brand ambassador Cameron Smith’s victory at last year’s 150th Open at St Andrews, while Callaway Apparel, managed under Perry Ellis’ international roster of brands, enjoyed double-digit growth across Europe.

To fuel the significant spike in interest in both brands at retail, Perry Ellis is seeking to hire two industry professionals, reporting into the UK & Ireland’s Regional Manager, Stuart Neillie, to spearhead growth plans in both South East England, and Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

“By adding to our sales team infrastructure, we will be able to further enhance customer service levels across the UK and Ireland, for both brands, and expand our network of retail partners. Our European Callaway Apparel business is also benefiting from a new state-of-the-art specialist warehousing facility in Holland, plus a new dedicated embroidery house.”

The European business continues to grow with the addition of dedicated business partners in Denmark, Holland, Spain and Portugal, increasing market penetration and driving further growth across green grass accounts.
