OptimallyMe announces Ryder Cup-winning captain Luke Donald as first brand ambassador

Leading health technology company OptimallyMe has unveiled Ryder Cup-winning captain and former world number one golfer, Luke Donald, as its first brand ambassador.

Donald, who led Europe to victory in the 2023 edition of the Ryder Cup, is known for his data-led approach to the sport, and joined the brand as he looks to optimise his game even further through OptimallyMe’s offering, making him the ideal partner for the company’s mission to revolutionise personal health through data.

As well as becoming a brand ambassador, Donald has also joined the OptimallyMe advisory board, where he will head up the company’s fitness and sports category. Donald will work with the rest of the advisory board and OptimallyMe leadership to ensure users are receiving best-in-class bespoke fitness advice, using his years of experience as a professional golfer to inform the guidance users receive.

Backed by industry-leading scientific and medical professionals, OptimallyMe offers a holistic health optimisation platform and a 100% personalised dashboard, allowing users to understand and improve their health in ways tailored to their own needs, free from the usual generic advice which might not suit each person’s needs or the demands of their lifestyle.

OptimallyMe is also compatible with fitness wearables and can sync data back to its own  unified dashboard, so users can see all of their fitness and health metrics in one place, offering bespoke, AI-powered recommendations based on each individual’s test results and lifestyles.

Luke Donald said: “From early on in my career, I saw the benefit of structured practice and measuring data to see consistent improvement in my performance. OptimallyMe’s holistic platform allows users to take that approach to their health and track their own specific needs, all in one place. I’m delighted to be partnering with them as well as joining their advisory board, and hopefully helping thousands more people begin their personalised health optimisation journeys.”

Edward van-Harmelen, CEO, OptimallyMe, added: “OptimallyMe is backed by industry leaders at the very top of their game, so we’re thrilled to bring someone of Luke’s stature and credibility on board – someone that has been at the very pinnacle of their sport and who continues to innovate and lead by example.

“We’re excited to begin working alongside Luke to further optimise the product and understand the data and information that athletes and individuals need, in order to improve their performance and general wellbeing.”
