The country rock band Back Country Boys and Latin Grammy winning trumpeter, songwriter, producer, and DJ Spencer Ludwig have been announced as the opening and closing acts, respectively, for the PGA Show Winter Jam Concert featuring country-music star Jake Owen on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, in Orlando, Fla. Registered PGA Show attendees will receive complimentary admission to the new after-hours experience held in a new concert lounge in Hall E of the Orange County Convention Center. The concert is not open to the public.

Back Country Boys will begin the PGA Show Winter Jam at 6 p.m., followed by headliner Jake Owen, with DJ Spencer Ludwig closing out an exciting concert night. The PGA Show Winter Jam is an industry appreciation event for the efforts to grow the game by Show attendees in recent years and an opportunity to unwind and network with peers after a busy Show Day.

Over several years, they have welcomed current members Matt Byrne, Brendan McCormack, and Aidan Fox into the band. The Boys have performed at numerous local and national venues and have opened for various acts including Chris Janson, Eli Young Band, Ian Munsick, and more.

Jake Owen

With a career-spanning collection of gold and platinum certifications, ten No.1 singles and over 2.5 billion U.S. on-demand streams, Jake Owen has ascended to stardom as a mainstay country staple. Delivering a fresh set of beach-ready hits, his 16-track, seventh studio album, Loose Cannon, was released Summer 2023 via Big Loud Records. Known for his laid-back style and genre defining hits like “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “American Country Love Song,” and “Alone with You,” Owen’s last album, Greetings From…Jake, delivered three No.1 hits – “Made for You,” “Homemade” and “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” – and a top five smash “Down to the Honkytonk.” The ACM award winner began headlining the Loose Cannon Tour in September and fans have responded enthusiastically to great new tracks such as “Solo, Solo,” “Nothing,” “Hot Truck Beer” and the boat-ready anthem “On the Boat Again”.

Spencer Ludwig

Spencer Ludwig is a Latin Grammy winning and Grammy performing trumpeter, songwriter, producer and DJ. Since being the original trumpeter in the multi-platinum band Capital Cities, the Los Angeles-born, half-Filipino has gone rogue, adding a new dimension of possibility to not only his sonic weapon of choice, but to pop music overall, and in 2019 he earned himself a Latin Grammy for co-writing and performing on Fonseca’s album “Agustin”. As a solo artist, signed to Warner Records in 2016, and as the trumpeter for Capital Cities, Ludwig has performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Ellen Show and he has toured worldwide with Bebe Rexha, Betty Who, Fonseca, Fitz & The Tantrums, and Katy Perry.
