OCEANTEE CREATES SUSTAINABLE DESIGNS FOR THE AIG WOMEN’S OPEN

OCEANTEE, the sustainable golf brand, is delighted to be supporting the AIG Women’s Open, supplying its award-winning bamboo tees in specially created sustainable matchbox packaging for selected guests of the event.

“This is another fantastic milestone for us, in what has become an incredible year,” comments Founder of OCEANTEE Ed Sandison. “We love seeing the biggest organisations and events in golf making efforts to improve their sustainability. To see our bespoke printed matchboxes and tees at a Major Championship just weeks after the announcement of our partnership with DP World Tour shows just how far we have come, and the importance being placed on making small changes that make a real difference.”

OCEANTEE’s customisation service allows customers to completely redesign the company’s FSC certified cardboard matchboxes.  There are various customisation options available including the addition of personal messages and logos and in this case, colour matching the box to the brand.  The printing is all carried out using only natural dyes.  The tees themselves come in a choice of long and short bamboo tees in traditional and castle designs as well as the popular mixed set, all of which are housed here in the UK.  There is a minimum order of 200 matchboxes for this service, which is delivered with natural tees in around 2 to 3 weeks.
