Nippon Shaft marks 10th anniversary of Modus3 steel shaft series with limited-edition N.S Pro Modus3 Tour 115 Luxury Black

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the legendary N.S.PRO MODUS3 series of steel shafts, Nippon Shaft are excited to unveil details of the limited-edition N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 115 Luxury Black model.

This anniversary product is extremely limited, with only 2,000 sets available worldwide. The shaft boasts Luxury Black plating to the exterior with silver detailing and a special “10th Anniversary Limited,” logo to the underside.

The Tour 115 is a weight tolerance that has never previously been manufactured by Nippon Shaft. The stealthy N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 115 Black has been designed to provide golfers with a mid-trajectory that delivers medium spin levels and precision control. Continuing to raise the bar in steel shaft production, this exclusive product falls between the increasingly popular Tour 105 model and the staple of Nippon Shaft’s Tour presence, the Tour 120.

First introduced in the form of the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 prototype in 2010, the MODUS³ shaft series, which offers superb control and stability, has been used in its entirety to claim over 200 championships worldwide, including the 2016 Open Championship and the 2017 Masters.

The Tour 120 proved to be extremely popular with golfers of all abilities right away, and by 2015 the range had expanded to include the higher launching Tour 130 model, the Tour 125 which delivers mid-launch, the MODUS3 Wedge series that promotes a lower trajectory, and the mid-launching Tour 105. With the addition of the Tour 115, the series is more comprehensive than ever.

“Nippon Shaft is extremely proud of the prestigious reputation that the N.S. PRO MODUS3 series of steel shafts has attained over the past 10 years, not only among touring professionals but within the wider golfing community,” said Ichiro Kurihara, Sales and Marketing Manager for Nippon Shaft.

“When Nippon Shaft embarked on this journey, we aspired to create a series of steel shafts for elite professionals and amateur golfers seeking equipment that would help them play their best and enjoy the game to the fullest,” Kurihara continued.

“Having achieved that goal, we will continue to innovate to create even better products in the future.”

N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 115 Luxury Black is available now through Nippon Shaft’s global club fitter network.
