Nick Dougherty partners with Lynx Golf

Three-time European Tour Winner and Sky Sports broadcaster Nick Dougherty has joined Lynx Golf as an ambassador. The former Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year will be playing with the Lynx Parallax driver and Lynx Blade irons in future events.

“It is my wish to be able to help Lynx grow in terms of its profile and exposure, to help with innovation and development of new product, and to be able to demonstrate just why this family owned brand really is something very special,” commented Dougherty.

“Finding the perfect blend between classic proven design and innovation with evolution is a difficult one to accomplish but I have no doubt in saying that Lynx have achieved exactly that. The Lynx Blades are some of the most stunning clubs I have ever seen as far as aesthetics and I can say that my distance control with my iron play has never been as good.”

Lynx CEO, Steve Elford said of the appointment: “Nick’s broadcasting career and the media profile he is creating is very interesting to Lynx and what we’re trying to achieve as a modern, British golf brand. It’s a synergistic fit, not just because of his success in golf and broadcasting, but because of his fresh and invigorating approach to golf.”

Dougherty, whose best career finish was joint seventh in the US Masters, joins a company in Lynx dedicated to supporting ‘green grass’ Pro shop businesses as well as women’s and junior golf.
