A pair of the UK’s most experienced sales agents are now selling two of 2019’s hottest golf technology products – the new SkyCaddie SX500 GPS handheld and the TV-supported SkyTrak personal launch monitor.

PGA professionals Ian Singleton and Richard Tinworth are now representing SkyHawke Technologies, which sells the SkyCaddie, SkyTrak and SkyPro brands throughout the UK and Europe.

Tinworth will cover a large part of the South and South East including Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, Berkshire and Hampshire, and his new colleague Singleton will now cover the North West and North Wales including Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria.

“SkyCaddie is the go-to brand in GPS” said Singleton, a cricket lover from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who has represented leading golf brands for over a dozen years in the North West region. “It was the first golf distance measuring brand and is still the best. SkyCaddie maps golf courses in a unique way – in the proper way, most would say – and it consistently pushes the DMD category forwards with new ideas and innovative technology.”

Tinworth, who has represented golf brands for almost twenty years, said: “SkyCaddie’s new SX500 is a classic game-changer. I’ve not once missed using my laser in the dozens of rounds I have played since getting it. The SX500 just gives you so much information.

“With the day’s pins loaded into the SX500, getting an accurate yardage to any point on the golf hole – including the flag – is quicker and easier than was ever possible with a laser. You’re getting 100% of the hole info that you need, which is why so many pros are now turning to the SkyCaddie SX500 instead of a laser.”

On the SkyTrak, Ian Singleton said: “The SkyTrak is now a full-on training device, and an income-generator for all PGA pros and academy coaches. Its accuracy has been proven many times, and it is 100% portable too – as well as being so affordable.

“With constant improvements to its interface, SkyTrak is now the device of choice for many pros as regards ball fitting, club fitting, wedge gapping and so many more tasks at the range, or in the swing room.”

Both Singleton and Tinworth are long-time PGA professionals themselves. “I am heading to Tour School in January 2019 in the hunt for my Staysure Tour card” said Richard Tinworth. “Several players on the Staysure Tour such as Paul Streeter, David Shacklady and Paul Eales are already using the SkyCaddie SX500 on the seniors tour, so its Tour pedigree is becoming more proven as each week goes by.”

“The new SkyCaddie is the closest thing golfers have ever had to having a real caddie by their side during every round they play” said Singleton. “It’s not enough, any more, to just zap the pin. The SX500 enables you to plot your way around much more intelligently.”
