New range announced by Cobra Golf

Cobra Golf has unveiled the Cobra Max woods, aimed at game-improvers and beginners.

Replacing the Cobra Baffler XL woods, the new Cobra Max woods will complement the better player Cobra King Ltd family and the mid-handicap Cobra F6 woods and irons. As with those line-ups, the Cobra Max woods will be joined by an ultra-forgiving Cobra max iron set.

The new woods were designed to provide additional support and forgiveness to help achieve higher launches and extra distance, with a draw-bias also aiding your accuracy.

“At COBRA Golf, we want everyone to love the game and have fun on the course no matter their skill level, so we designed the COBRA MAX collection to give higher handicap golfers increased accuracy and distance over every shot – to help them enjoy the game even more,”  said Jose Miraflor, director of product marketing at Cobra.

To achieve all this, the woods are engineered with a shallow face, offset hosel and draw bias head weighting. The driver also features an increased length-to-width ratio, reaching the largest legal possible size, for a bigger sweetspot and more forgiveness on off-centre hits.

The new Cobra Max range will go on sale on January 15th 2016. The Cobra Max driver will retail at £199 while the Cobra Max fairway wood will retail at £149. The Cobra Max hybrid will cost £129. There will also be a women’s line available, fitted with a ladies shaft and Winn Wrap grips.
