New men’s golf shoes launched by Skechers

Skechers Performance Division have announced the launch of an all-new men’s golf shoe category for the summer season. The GO GOLF Drive II is Skechers’ latest release and is geared to golfers who demand on-course performance as well as a fashionable street-wear look.

The GO GOLF Drive II has been developed through taking the premium modern materials seen in the men’s GO GOLF Pro and Elite styles, and combining them with brand-new contemporary colour schemes and styling.

This contemporary performance model features an abundance of Skechers’ award-winning technologies, including the introduction of the innovative Goga Mat comfort. Whilst conceived with a fashionable design in mind to create the perfect golf shoe for summer.

The Drive II is available in three colour schemes: black synthetic with white trim, navy synthetic with white trim and white synthetic with navy trim. To design these modern golf shoes, Skechers Performance have taken the award-winning innovations from their world-famous lifestyle division and adapted it to golfing specifics given by Skechers ambassadors like PGA Tour star Matt Kuchar.

The same materials and technologies featured throughout the premium GO GOLF shoes is used throughout the whole GO GOLF range, therefore the GO GOLF Drive II features tour-trusted technologies such as GOimpulse sensors and a Resalyte comfort insole.

Golfers who choose the GO GOLF Drive II will also benefit from the innovative Goga Mat Technology insole that offers high-rebound cushioning resulting maximum comfort. The shoe itself is built upon a solid foundation due to ‘Low Drop’, a technology that ensures the foot stays low to the ground and in a central position. The low drop midsole is in place for excellent ground feel, which results in improved player performance and stability during the golf swing.

The Drive II is constructed with a smooth leather upper, side perforated accents, soft fabric shoe lining and a flexible turf cleated outsole. Although lifestyle-inspired in terms of styling using a variety of materials, the Drive II still manages to be 100 per cent waterproof, due to H2GO shield waterproof seam-sealed protection.

The GO GOLF Drive II will be available to purchase now and will have a SRP of £79.00.
