New golf simulation centre open

Lets Race, the UK’s first full-motion Formula 1 Simulation Centre, have announced that their redeveloped simulation facility, which now includes Lets Golf, is officially open – making it one of the top simulation destination venues in the UK.

Based in Horley, on the borders of Sussex and Surrey, the stunning new venue was opened by racing star Max Chilton and the company’s owner, Rupert Swallow.

Lets Race & Lets Golf now offer an enhanced race experience in their 10 networked full-motion F1 Sims thanks to the installation of RFactor2 technology, as well as golfing sessions in one of their three new HD Golf simulation booths, offering golf enthusiasts the chance to play virtually on some of the best courses in the world from St. Andrews to the PGA National.

Powered by HD Golf, the golf simulators installed at Lets Golf offer the most realistic simulated experience on the market. Utilising high speed spectrum sensor smart technology, they give players a unique way to enhance their technique – the golf ball and club are accurately tracked which shows where the ball ended up on the course and also displays crucial club/ball data – enabling players to self-diagnose and immediately improve their game.

The centre has also welcomed PGA Golf Professional, Steve Furlonger, to their team. Steve will be on hand each week, offering one-to-one and group coaching sessions utilising technology such as the Foresight GC2 HMT ball & club tracking system, a Sam Balance ground force plate and high speed video capture (through multiple cameras). Lets Golf will also feature a Callaway retail zone providing custom-fitted clubs for customers.
