National Golf Month to be held in May

At the Golf Business Industry Convention in March plans for an industry initiative to recruit 100,000 lapsed or new golfers to the game will be presented to delegates at the Marriott Forest of Arden. National Golf Month will take place in May 2014 supported and by a variety of industry stakeholders including national governing bodies (NGBs), manufacturers and organisations. There will be advertising of National Golf Month in 23 printed publications and 26 national radio stations. Total media coverage of the campaign will go out to 23.7 million with additional marketing support from the partners.

All the major golf unions and associations, golf clubs, driving ranges, golf manufacturers and PGA professionals have already signed up and, working together with your support, we can change the trend and get more players on our courses having fun and enjoying this great game.”
