Motocaddy has been named Official Trolley Partner of the English Trophy on the HotelPlanner Tour.
The tournament takes place at The Caversham in Reading from 10–13 September, with emerging international professionals competing for Road to Mallorca ranking points and a share of the £250,000 prize fund.
Under the agreement, Motocaddy will provide 60 QB2 push trolleys for competitors to use throughout the tournament. The arrangement will give players the opportunity to use the company’s push-trolley products while providing Motocaddy with feedback from golfers competing at a professional level.
The brand will also have signage around the course and field a team in the tournament’s Pro-Am, creating further opportunities to engage with players and representatives from across the golf industry.

The partnership follows Motocaddy’s recently announced multi-year agreement with The PGA, which made the company a National Tournament Partner. Motocaddy also supports events on the Clutch Pro Tour.
“We’re delighted to become the Official Trolley Partner of the English Trophy and be associated with an event that plays such an important role in the development of professional golfers,” said Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy.
“The HotelPlanner Tour provides a hugely important pathway for players looking to progress their careers, so to have the opportunity to support them directly with Motocaddy products is a big moment for our brand.
“Getting our products into the hands of professional golfers is incredibly valuable to us, not only because they can experience the performance of our products first-hand, but their feedback helps us understand what matters to golfers competing at this level.
“Alongside supplying trolleys for the players, our on-course presence will give us a fantastic platform to both contribute to the tournament and engage with a wider audience.”
The QB2 is a compact push trolley featuring a two-step folding mechanism and an automatically folding front wheel. Oversized frictionless wheels are designed to improve manoeuvrability around the course.
Additional features include an adjustable ergonomic handle, foot-operated parking brake and integrated storage. The trolley is also compatible with Motocaddy’s EASILOCK bag-to-trolley connection system.
For Motocaddy, the English Trophy partnership provides a product-testing and brand-visibility opportunity at an event featuring players seeking to progress through the professional ranks.
