Morris, the mind guru, at Thorpeness Festival

Regular GOLF RETAILING columnist and leading golf mind coach, Karl Morris, whose clients have included major champions and Ryder Cup captains, will bring his Mind Factor workshop to the Thorpeness Festival of Golf this July. Golfers taking part in the three day festival will benefit from Morris’ proven approach to the psychology of golf and learn practical ways to play better golf without changing their golf swings.

The workshop called ‘5 Shots Lower WITHOUT Changing Your Swing’, will take place at 7.30pm in the Thorpeness Golf Club clubhouse on 29 July, the evening before the Thorpeness Cup, the main event of the festival, and will be free to festival entrants and golf break guests.

Morris stated, “I’m looking forward to heading to Suffolk to help golfers simplify the way they think about golf and demonstrate proven and practical ways to play better golf without needing major surgery on their swing, changes in their equipment or physique. My goal is that all those playing in the festival can immediately go to the course feeling clearer and more confident about their ability to play golf well.”

It is the second golf festival to take place in the seaside holiday resort of Thorpeness. Three days of competitions, coaching clinics and entertainment will take place at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel, with its 36-bedroom golf hotel, James Braid designed heathland course and 1920’s pavilion style Thorpeness Country Club. A range of stay-and-play packages are available starting from £199, with an added option for entrants to extend the stay and receive a free round of golf.
