Moore power for BGL

Burhill Golf and Leisure Limited (BGL Golf), owners and operators of ten destinations across the UK, has announced the appointment of Jess Moore as group sales manager. Moore will oversee the sales of all the BGL venues. She joins BGL after nine years with Club Company. Her primary goal in the new role will be to accelerate growth of membership across the group.

Though Moore will be based at the company’s head office at Burhill, she will spend much of her time liaising closely with the general managers and sales managers across the BGL portfolio, which includes 22 golf courses at ten locations countrywide.

Commenting Moore said, “I’m very excited to be starting a new chapter of my career at such a forward-thinking organisation as BGL. The company’s all-embracing vision for the game is very refreshing, and I’m certain our progressive membership packages will prove hugely popular across the portfolio.”

Guy Riggott, operations director (golf) at BGL, added, “At the heart of any growing and developing business is strength in its sales force. Jess, with her track record of success, will support BGL in accelerating its revenue growth in golf and its broad portfolio of leisure revenues.”
