Lynx Golf is delighted to announce the appointment of Natalie Wignall (pictured above) as its new Director of Legal and Business Affairs.
The British and family-owned company that brought the world-famous Lynx brand back to the market has seen unprecedented growth in sales since its return – and is planning ahead for further growth.
Stephanie Zinser, CFO, said: “We are very grateful for the support of previous Lynx aficionados as well as those for whom the Lynx brand is a new thing. We have always structured our team to be able to cope with increasing demand, but we have now reached a stage where we need a more robust structure at the top of our company to enable us to make the next strides forward with a clear vision towards success.”
Natalie Wignall is a barrister with wide experience of working in-house and has worked at the highest levels in large multi-national corporations such as Marconi and Thales. Her most recent position was as General Counsel for Liverpool Football Club. Natalie was a member of the Club’s Executive team for six years and played a key role in the sale of the club from the Hicks and Gillette ownership to the present ownership, as well as being instrumental in the plans for the expansion of Anfield’s Main Stand.
Steve Elford, CEO, added: “Natalie came highly recommended to us by a long term advisor to Lynx, who works at a high level within sport, and she makes the perfect addition to what is already a very dynamic and strong team.
“We have worked enormously hard to get where we are and the wider golfing world is starting to recognise not just the fact that our products are desirable for both their performance and looks, but that we as a company have great ambitions for success. Natalie’s addition comes at a time when we need to cement our growth and continue forging ahead with plans for development and expansion within our market and territories.”
On Joining Lynx, Natalie Wignall said: “When I left LFC I was looking for an opportunity to learn more about running a sports business as the next building block in my career in sport. Stephanie and Steve are giving me the opportunity to do that with Lynx. In turn I hope I can help them realise their ambitions for Lynx, growing the brand and the company in the right way and continuing to establish Lynx as a prestigious brand known for its fresh approach, innovation and performance.”
