Lynx expands sales team with key appointments

Lynx has strengthened its sales team with two key appointments as the British golf brand continues to expand.

A well-known face in the golf industry, Mike Probert joins Lynx from Honma and he previously spent 19 years at Ping. He becomes area sales manager for the home counties and east of England.

Lynx also has a new agent in the south west and south Wales. Dave Rigby celebrates 24 years in the golf trade this month (October) during which time he has represented some of the best-loved brands in golf, including Galvin Green, Adidas, Ecco, Bridgestone, and SkyCaddie.

He is a 3-handicap member at Cotswold Hills in Cheltenham.

Announcing the appointments, Lynx UK & European Sales Manager, Murray Tonry, said: “Mike and David are two very well-known, professional, sales people and I’m delighted to welcome them to the Lynx team.

“We’re enjoying strong sales growth both in the UK and internationally and it was essential that we bolstered our sales team to meet increased demand for Lynx products from our green-grass retailers.

“We particularly needed additional focus in the home counties and east of England because the previous area sales manager, Alex Bridges, has moved to International Sales Manager due to Lynx’s global expansion.”

Lynx, a British, family-owned golf equipment brand, is dedicated to offering exceptional equipment for use by golfers at all skill levels and has always promised to support ‘green grass’ Pro shop businesses.
