London Golf Show Success

The 2013 London Golf Show was a success with visitors and exhibitors happy with the event.

Barry Young, MD, Internet Golf Store, was delighted with the success of this years’ show: “This was our 5th Golf Show as retail partner and we are up 20% on last year. Our team of fitters also did over 240 custom fits – another record for us!”

“We’ve had a really great show, there have been lots of visitors which has meant our lads haven’t stopped coaching all three days,”said Michael Angelides of TopGolf.

“This has been our first time at The London Golf Show and its proved to be a great environment for us to launch our Freedom Play memberships,” Hannah Baker of Crown Golf commented.

Darren Spry of City Golfing said, “We’ve had a fabulous three days meeting visitors to the London Golf Show, it has been absolutely brilliant, and to top it all we sold many of our packages, we’ll be back next year 100%.”

Dominic McMullan, Sales & Marketing Manager of The London Golf Show said, “To hear such incredibly positive responses is great news and proves that we have an environment which is very important for the golf trade and has proved to be well attended by golfers. Our marketing strategy targeted the core golf media which delivered us more active and committed golfers who spent more time in the show than in previous years, that increased dwell time also meant sales from exhibitors across the board increased significantly.”

Damian Benstead, Managing Director of the Golf Show Group added “What a show! There was a great buzz around the hall this year, the aisles were busy and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks to all those who helped make it a great event… Golf Monthly, Mazda, Monarch, HealthExpress, the guys at the Internet Golf Store, TopGolf, all the golf brands, and last but not least the Lord’s Taverners, who we helped to raise over £8,300. We couldn’t have done it without you and the support from our exhibitors, and of course the golfers who make the event what it is.
