Kennedy adds up for Abacus

Oliver Kennedy has been appointed as the new UK key account manager for Abacus Sportswear, the Swedish golf apparel company. In his new role Kennedy will support incumbent sales representative, Jake Oudes. Kennedy is a PGA Professional and has worked in golf and retail for more than a decade representing one of the world’s largest golf hardware manufacturers, one of the UK’s largest golf and leisure wear brands and a high street fashion retailer.

Abacus Sportswear is an Official Clothing Supplier to The European Tour and European Solheim Cup Team. Sven-Olof Karlsson, owner of Abacus Sportswear said, “Oliver joins us with a wealth of experience in the golf industry, not just in the UK but also internationally. As a PGA Professional, his understanding of the golf trade industry and the needs of fellow PGA professionals is second to none. 2014 is set to be an exciting year, and one of great importance for Abacus in the UK with the launch of two new collections, a licensee agreement with The Ryder Cup 2014, and the appointment of Oliver.”
