KBS has brought together UK stockists, club fitters and media partners for a product education and shaft-fitting event at its new UK headquarters.

Held at the Full Swing EMEA showroom in Wokingham, the evening gave trade partners an opportunity to discuss the company’s latest products and their fitting applications.

KBS Marketing Director Rhett Taylor, OEM Custom Sales Manager Jeremy Camp and UK Territory Manager Brandon Bassett represented the company at the event.

Master Club Fitter and KBS Ambassador Chris Trott led a presentation on the fitting process, drawing on his experience of working with leading professional golfers. An open question-and-answer session gave attendees an opportunity to discuss shaft selection and Tour-level fitting considerations.

“We were delighted with how the event came together and, most importantly, with the quality of the conversations we had throughout the evening,” said Taylor.

“Our stockists and club fitting partners have an incredible depth of knowledge and experience themselves, so it was great to bring everyone together and create an environment where ideas, questions and fitting experiences could be shared openly in a relaxed setting.”

The event covered the KBS Tour V-X family and TGBlack graphite shaft.

The event followed the launch of the KBS Tour V-X and Tour V-X Lite steel shafts. The KBS TGBlack graphite shaft was also featured, allowing attendees to explore its performance characteristics and fitting applications.

“Having Chris Trott there added another important dimension,” added Taylor. “His experience of fitting some of the world’s best players provided a fascinating insight into what goes into shaft selection and fitting at the highest level, and there was a lot for everyone to take away from the evening.”

KBS said the event forms part of its commitment to supporting UK stockists and fitting partners through product knowledge, fitting expertise and direct access to the company’s team.
