J.Lindeberg launch Spring Summer 2018 Collection

J.Lindeberg isn’t like other brands in golf. Never is this more apparent then visiting their offices in the achingly cool Shoreditch, situated next to the Nobu Hotel. They may produce an amazing golf line but they are very much a fashion brand first and foremost. Despite being around since 1996, they are still trying to challenge the golf fashion status quo. At their 2018 Spring Summer launch event, with DJ Spoony manning the wheels of steel, they showed us their latest line.

J.Lindeberg stands for 20 years of experience. Challenging the golf establishment, the brand introduced a cutting-edge, slim silhouette with an attitude. With the Spring Summer 18 collection, JL takes on the challenge to once again break the conventions, presenting an elevated and innovative golf collection with visible details, reaching beyond sports.

The collection takes a starting point in the J.Lindeberg DNA with an expression that is conceptual, functional and simple with bold graphics. Colour and print concepts are aligned throughout the collection, using the iconic bridge symbol in variations and introducing this season’s simplistic and graphic ”window pane” check print.
Technology and intelligent innovation is found in every detail with the highest demands on the aesthetics.

Introducing the ”Seamless concept” – a new jersey fabric technique with no seams or seam allowances featured in polo shirts, enhancing a light and overall comfortable feel for full freedom of movement. Highly technical Schoeller 3 x Dry fabric, used in pants and skirts, feels like cotton and offers a water and dirt repellent surface, which dries 3 times as fast as a regular cotton. Also new for the season is the ultra lightweight and breathable “mesh pants” concept, and a new “hybrid concept” in mid layers, mixing a stretch softshell and a tech jersey for comfort and function.

The colour palette introduces highlights of light tinted yellow, sporty racing red, still green, 70s faded blue and the classic neutrals: white, black and navy.
It’s in the J.Lindeberg roots and DNA – sports and fashion in a perfect combination.
