INDUSTRY BACKS WOMEN IN GOLF AWARDS

The Women in Golf Awards has confirmed its full roster of industry partners for its fifth annual event, which will take place at Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on Friday 27 November 2026.

Organisers expect more than 200 people to attend the ceremony, which will be accompanied by educational sessions and networking opportunities on the golf course.

Tickets are available to both women and men for the first time. Partner support will also fund free places for women aged under 30, career-development sessions and research projects including the Fairways Project with 59club.

“Once again we’re both delighted and humbled by the support that the golf industry continues to show for the awards,” said founder Nicole Wheatley.

“What started as an attempt to find a place for women to connect and celebrate achievement has transformed into an industry-wide movement for change.

“The support of our partners not only enables us to run the event, it also allows us to offer free spaces for women under 30 to attend, it funds free education sessions to help women progress their careers and it enables us to support industry-changing research such as our Fairways Project with 59 Club.”

Nine sponsored categories have been announced for 2026:

Unsung Hero – sponsored by England Golf
Brand of the Year – sponsored by the BGIA
International Woman – sponsored by Perry Ellis
Women’s Initiative – sponsored by The PGA
Women in Turfcare – sponsored by BIGGA
Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional – sponsored by TGI Golf Partnership
Women’s Leadership – sponsored by the GCMA
Rising Star – sponsored by Acushnet
Content Creator – sponsored by The Loop

Additional support comes from education partner Bernhard Academy, project delivery partner 59club, event partner Belton Woods and bursary sponsor The Kate & Justin Rose Foundation.

Wheatley added: “To have support from every sector of the industry is what gives me most optimism for the impact that our work can help inspire.

“With governing bodies across the industry, manufacturers who are leading the way in equitable practices and businesses who are determined to throw their weight behind our movement for change, the future is really bright.”

The Women in Golf Awards was established by Wheatley and Ben Blackburn to provide a platform to connect, celebrate and support women working across different areas of the golf industry.

Tickets for the 2026 event are now available through the Women in Golf Awards website.
