HowDidiDo backs British Golf Show with promotion

Golf club software giant Club Systems International is to back the forthcoming British Golf Show with a two-month promotion to its powerful HowDidiDo.com audience.

Before the show opens on 17 May at Wycombe Air Park, over 560,000 golf club members of the HowDidiDo community will be encouraged to claim a free ticket by registering online.

Club Systems’ other managed brands Golfalot and Global Golf Post will also support the British Golf Show with promotions to their own audiences, while the British Golf Show will feature HowDidiDo in regular communications to its own 47,000 customer database.

Both organisations will continue the cross-promotion on their social media feeds.

HowDidiDo.com, the largest golfer network in Europe, holds the scores from over 50 million rounds of golf from over 1.2 million UK golf club members.

“We see the British Golf Show as a potentially valuable initiative for the UK golf industry” said Richard Peabody, CEO of HowDidiDo and MD of Club Systems International.

“Opportunities for the public to gather in large numbers to participate in golf are few and far between these days, and with a terrific location convenient for millions in the Midlands, London and the South East, we are encouraging golfers and their golf clubs to engage with the British Golf Show in its launch year.”

Alex Ayling, Managing Director of British Golf Show organisers The Elite Luxury Events, said: “When we met Richard and his team we found a lot of common ground. I am delighted that they bought into our plans to create an enjoyable event this May, and we are looking forward to running an energetic cross-promotion with HowDidiDo, Golfalot and Global Golf Post in the next two months.”

The 2019 British Golf Show promises to be an entertaining day out for golfers and their families, as well as for people thinking about trying golf for the first time.

Visitors to the show will be able to try the latest golf technology products, and golfing venues will be showcasing their resorts and golf courses. Brands such as Cobra and Callaway will be organising tests of their 2019 product ranges out on the Driving Range, and as well as other golf attractions visitors will also find a fascinating array of spectacular products on show from the worlds of luxury cars, aviation, marine and shooting in The Elite London exhibition.
