Honma Golf appoints new UK fitting specialist

HONMA Golf has appointed PGA Professional Luke Peterken as its new Club Fitting Specialist in the UK.

Luke will provide support to the growing number of HONMA Golf stockists, having joined the company from one of the country’s leading club fitting centres at Silvermere Golf Leisure in Weybridge, Surrey.

“Luke has outstanding experience in the club fitting industry and I am confident that he will help us make great strides in the UK market,” said Alejandro Sanchez, General Manager of HONMA Golf Europe, based in Switzerland.

The Surrey-based golf professional graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2008 and has gained experience at some of the most prestigious golfing facilities at home and abroad since that time.

Having held a position as Head Golf Coach at the luxury Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Luke spent seven years as the TaylorMade Performance Lab Head Fitter at the Wentworth Club before moving on to Silvermere.

“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of HONMA Golf,” said Luke. “The brand provides such a premium and personal experience when it comes to club fitting and the quality of the products is second to none,” he added.

A nationwide HONMA Club Fitting Tour that began in May comes to an end later this month, having proven successful at facilities such as Burham & Berrow, Royal Cinque Ports and the Wentworth Club.
Luke is able to fit the latest hand-crafted premium drivers, irons, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges and putters from the BERES S-06, TOUR WORLD 737 and BeZEAL 535 series, including models specifically designed for lady golfers.
