Hole19 announce new interactive features

Golf app Hole19, a free way to track scores, stats and shot distances, has launched a new series of social features with the aim of making it the world’s first global ‘golf-only’ community.

The new features means that golfers can share their round scorecards, golf photos and text posts right in the app. In turn, the golfer’s followers can ‘like’ and comment on the player’s posts.

“To date, our product has been focused on enriching the on-course golf experience; providing golfers with tools to play better shots and shoot better scores. We’re very excited to now give golfers the opportunity to share their golf experiences with their buddies, and to introduce a fun, social component to Hole19,” said Anthony Douglas, CEO of Hole19.

The Hole19 App now counts over 36,000 available courses, all mapped in-house, which represents more than 95 percent of all golf courses worldwide. It has users and courses in over 154 countries, with the largest number of users coming from USA, UK, Germany, Canada and Sweden.
