Harden gets the PowerBug

PowerBug has appointed Steve Harden, as sales director. Harden, a PGA professional of 18 years, joins PowerBug as the brand has unveiled plans to open up its retail network to bring its pricing, innovation and customer service to a wider audience.

He brings a wealth of knowledge to the role having previously worked as a PGA professional at Bearwood Lakes, East Berkshire Golf Club and Pinheiros Altos during his 18 years in the golf industry. More recently, Harden owned and operated golftrolleyshop.com, the independent retailer of golf trolleys in the UK.

PowerBug managing director, Rob Hunt said, “We’re delighted to add someone with Steve’s knowledge, expertise and relationships to our business. Demand for our products is at all-time high and Steve’s experience will be crucial in helping us extend of sales distribution network in the UK.”

Harden commented: “I’m delighted to be joining PowerBug at such an exciting time in the brands history. I am fortunate to have worked with all the leading trolley brands during the last six years running golftrolleyshop.com and I can safely say the proposition that PowerBug has to offer is second to none in the market. I can’t wait to get started and help extend the distribution of PowerBug’s great products in the UK.”

The news follows the redevelopment of the brand’s website www.powerbug.co.uk and the announcement that the brand is opening up its distribution outside of retailer American Golf to reach more retail partners and therefore, more customers than ever before.
