Golfshake launch new score tracking app

Golfshake have announced the latest stage in their continued drive to provide digital services to golfers with the launch of a new free iPhone golf score tracking application.

The new iOS app, which is available for iPhones and iPads in the UK, compliments the golf score tracker provided via the Golfshake.com website and has been developed to work on the course, back at the clubhouse or once back after a round.

The initial app release is focused on the core Golfshake score tracking functionality around scoring, stats, handicaps, round history. The app allows golfers to track their scores through a quick scoring interface or track scores and stats through the stat tracking interface – scores can be tracked for a single player or multiple players.

Furthermore, the app provides direct access to the Golfshake course directory which provides course information, scorecards and contact details as well as access to the growing database of independent reviews. The Golfshake website has a growing database of over 150,000 independent reviews.

The app is a companion service to the Golfshake score tracker service which provides golfers with in-depth game analysis to help improve their game through benchmarking and analysis which identifies strengths and weaknesses. Tracking scores through Golfshake has been proven to, on average, save golfers three shots on their golf handicap by simply recording their stats and focusing on their scores through use of the score tracking service.

The Android version is due to be released very soon with phase two of the app set for 2016 which will see more features and functionality.
