GolfBuddy teams with Foremost for DMD trial promo

GolfBuddy has launched a free 18-hole demo programme at more than 50 UK golf courses. Working with Foremost Golf, for which it is an Approved Supplier and supporter of the Elite Marketing Programme, GolfBuddy has sent trial units of its PT4 handheld GPS, LR4 laser rangefinder and WT5 watch GPS to local PGA pros for use by any of their members or visitors.

The demo programme is being supported by email blasts to golf club members, encouraging them to book a trial. Posters are also being used around the golf clubs to promote the event – the first time GolfBuddy has offered free unit trials on a large scale.

John Ennis, GolfBuddy Global head of sales and marketing, said, “GolfBuddy walks courses on foot to create extremely detailed and accurate maps. We believe golfers can only fully appreciate the benefits of this improved accuracy over our competitors when out on the course. It’s also a great way for the PGA pro to sell more units. We know many GolfBuddys are bought straight off the shelf – but a try-before-you-buy demo scheme will certainly assist a Pro to demonstrate why owning a GPS or laser is a great way to play better, shoot lower scores, or just enjoy the game more.” More at: www.gpsgolfbuddy.eu
