Golf Swing Systems today further strengthens its grip on the UK golf practice market with the announcement that indoor golf specialist Freddy Valenti has joined its team.
PGA Professional Valenti, 47, brings powerful UK golf industry connections to the GSS team after recent high-profile swing room and teaching studio projects at golf clubs such as Royal Lytham & St Anne’s, JCB Golf & Country Club, The Berkshire, Sherwood Forest, Notts (Hollinwell), Tandridge, Moor Hall and Roehampton.
Warrington-based Valenti will head up Golf Swing Systems’ new North office, servicing the UK upwards from Birmingham as well as developing the company’s business with golf operators and the luxury sector.
In 2010 Steve Joy started Golf Swing Systems and, by the end of the decade, he had secured significant market share in multiple UK indoor golf sectors including golf studio design, indoor golf technology and golf training aids via the www.golfswingsystems.co.uk e-commerce website and the company’s Surrey headquarters.
“Freddy will be a brilliant link to the midlands and north for Golf Swing Systems” said Joy. “He brings a wealth of construction knowledge as regards golf academies, garden rooms, driving ranges and golf club teaching bays to the company, and he will also help us to forge stronger relationships with PGA coaches and golf club operators.
“He is a well-known personality in the industry, passionate and energetic about the sport, a good example of the modern, multi-skilled PGA Professional who can both play and teach the game to a very high standard, as well as giving the right consultancy advice eloquently to golf clubs and academy owners who – as so many are doing nowadays – recognise the need to improve their indoor golf offering.”
Freddy Valenti said: “I am excited to join Steve’s team at Golf Swing Systems. The firm already offers emphatically the UK’s broadest, most complete service as regards golf practice, from the smallest training aid up to the creation of the complete modern golf studio, but hopefully I can help it to achieve even greater success by adding my own experience of 25 years in the golf instruction and facilities side of the industry.
“I particularly enjoy getting face-to-face with golf operators and PGA Pros and advising them on the finer points of creating spaces which make the best use of modern golf technology, so that their investment stands the best-possible chance of making a return. With the resources and knowledge of the Golf Swing Systems team behind me, I believe that our claim that we offer the most comprehensive service in UK golf is now even more substantial.”
Steve Joy said: “Freddy and I have two very complementary skillsets, and with the recent post-COVID surge of interest in indoor golf it feels like the right time for us to be working together rather than competing!
“I am looking forward to seeing Freddy in action and to the new opportunities which he will bring.”
