Golf Genius scoring for Wee Wonders

Golf Genius software will now provide the official scoring system of the Wee Wonders golf series, with the relationship helping to promote the game in the UK by hosting competitive events for the golfing stars of the future. Golf Genius will provide a customised website for each of the 15 Wee Wonders Regional Qualifiers, as well as the Grand Final at St Andrews, in addition to custom printed scorecards and leaderboards. Mobile savvy fans and competitors will be able to follow the action live through their very own live scoring app.

Founded in 1995 by Gullane head PGA professional Alasdair Good, the Wee Wonders Series has rapidly grown to become the only tournament with fully national coverage for children aged five to twelve. It provides an opportunity for entry into competitive golf for both children new to the game, and the most experienced young players.

The administrative tools that Golf Genius provides will enable scores and results to be uploaded instantly to the tournament websites, providing Wee Wonders tournament organisers with the ability to manage qualifiers on a national leaderboard.

Good commented, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Golf Genius and feel that the extensive range of tools that their product provides will help us take the Adidas golf Wee Wonders Golf Championships to the next level by providing entrants with an enhanced and interactive registration experience. The system will make tournament setup for our organisers so much easier, and provide a more user friendly way for entrants to register and pay. It will improve the overall product we are able to offer and provide a greatly enhanced experience to our young competitors.”
