Glenmuir sponsors Foremost Professionals Championship

Glenmuir has agreed to become the title sponsor of this year’s Foremost Golf Championship to be played at The Oxfordshire Golf Club on 18 May. Under the terms of the new deal, the prize fund at this year’s Foremost Golf Championship will increase by over half to £8,500. The winner will receive £2,500 with £1,500 received in Glenmuir vouchers.

The new sponsorship will also enable Foremost’s three Regional Championships to be developed with a prize fund being made available to the top-eight finishers at the North Championship at Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club (8 July), the South Championship at The Players Club (29 June) and the Midlands Championship at Kings Norton Golf Club (23 June).

As an additional bonus, all Foremost members who attend the Foremost Golf Championship, or one of the three Regional Championships, will receive a £100 voucher to spend on any of the Glenmuir brands including Sunderland and MacWet. The Foremost Golf Championship will still be used as a qualifier for the increasingly popular Ashworth Cup, which is being held in August at The Belfry.

Foremost director, Andy Martin stated, “Glenmuir has a proud history of sponsoring PGA events and this new sponsorship extends that support and will help us to take our Championship to a new level.”

Matthew Eagle, sales director for Glenmuir UK and Ireland commented, “We feel very privileged to be able to work alongside Foremost and support their very own championship. Both the Glenmuir and Sunderland of Scotland brands remain absolutely focused on working with club professionals across the land and we hope that our strong relationship with Foremost and its members will be further enhanced by our involvement in the tournament. We wish all the competitors the very best of luck and look forward to welcoming Foremost member at all the events.” More at: www.foremostgolf.com
