GALVIN GREEN PARTNERS UP WITH GOLFBREAKS

Premium high-performance clothing brand Galvin Green has partnered with travel specialist Golfbreaks, as exclusive apparel sponsor across the Golfbreaks UK Events schedule in 2022. The collaboration between the two golf industry leaders will enable more golfers travelling at home and abroad to enjoy their experience wherever and whenever they choose to play.

With the reopening of global travel, Golfbreaks organises ‘bucket list’ trips, holidays and tournament experiences for more than 200,000 golfers at over 2,500 resorts and golf courses worldwide each year, while Galvin Green offers the greatest depth of sustainable golf clothing on the market, with 90% of its garments from the 2022 Part One range made from fabrics sourced from eco-friendly suppliers.

The new partnership is designed to enhance the various forms of communication between Golfbreaks and its growing number of active golfers, including prize giveaways for customer events and engaging social media competitions

“The decision to team up was an easy one as Galvin Green and Golfbreaks share the same vision for serious golfers and have a combined experience of almost 60 years in the golf industry,” said Ian Kapp, Commercial Director at Galvin Green UK & Ireland. “Galvin Green is dedicated to helping golfers play at their best in all conditions, while Golfbreaks provides them with the opportunity to play wherever they want across the world. We can’t wait to combine resources and ideas to benefit those serious about their golf,” he added.

Commenting on behalf of Golfbreaks, Head of Commercial Nik Hayes said: “Golfbreaks are delighted to be partnering with Galvin Green. Both brands are synonymous with providing a quality product and we believe our shared experience and passion for the game of golf will make this collaboration a huge success”

In the first example of the partners working together, Golfbreaks’ customers will have the chance to win a new Galvin Green rain suit packed with comfort features and worth more than £520. The fully waterproof ARMSTRONG jacket in GORE-TEX Paclite™ stretch fabric comes complete with shaped sleeves for easy movement, a repositioned side seam for optimum comfort and an elastic drawstring at the hem. Matching ARTHUR trousers offer excellent protection from wind and rain, plus exceptional breathability. Fleece lined pockets provide increased warmth and comfort on the course, while an elasticated waist and drawstring combine for the perfect fit.

Golfbreaks is currently organising trips far and wide for golfers to play many of the finest destinations in the world. Trips to leading tournaments are also available to watch the world’s best players compete at the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews, The Masters in Augusta next month and both The Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup contests in 2023.

Galvin Green offers a comprehensive service on cresting corporate golf clothing, with the latest technology employed on embroidery and printing of logos. Last year, it became the first winner of the global Sports Technology Award for Sustainability based on its range of INSULA™ sweaters made from fabric produced from recycled plastic bottles. In addition, it recently signed up as an Innovation Partner of the GEO Foundation to support the drive for more sustainable golf with longer lasting products.
