GALVIN GREEN EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UK CORPORATE GAMES

Leading golf apparel brand Galvin Green has extended its partnership agreement with the UK Corporate Games – Europe’s largest multi-sport festival for businesses of all sizes and industry sectors – to offer participants of the 30th edition of the Games a host of premium prizes this August.

Following a far-reaching activation at last year’s Games, the Swedish brand will once again be providing a variety of high-end accessories as competition prizes for events scheduled over the four days (3-6 August), including a two-day Stableford golf tournament involving more than 100 players held at both Stonebridge Golf Club and Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club in Warwickshire. It will also sponsor the popular Tennis Ball Hit-Out event which involves every participant and a host of prizes.

Staged at the University of Warwick, over 2,500 participants from across the UK are expected to gather and compete in a host of sporting activities, including representatives from around 100 global organisations such as Accenture, Lloyds Banking Group and IBM. A total of up to 156 events are being held across 21 different sports, including golf, tennis, cycling and dragon boat racing.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with the UK Corporate Games following a great debut last year where we were able to reach thousands of business professionals from across the country,” said Ian Kapp, Commercial Director at Galvin Green UK & Ireland. “There are a wide variety of opportunities for the brand to interact with participants across the weekend and we’re really looking forward to seeing what’s in store at this year’s Games,” he added.

Over the last three decades, the Corporate Games has been attended by more than one million competitors representing 10,000 organisations, aiming to help integrate staff members from across different company departments in a relaxed and fun setting, all whilst promoting health and wellbeing.

Commenting on behalf of the UK Corporate Games, Games Director, Doug White said: “We are proud to have Galvin Green on board as a partner for another year and offer our participants a wide range of the brand’s high-quality prizes as we look to offer the best experience possible. We believe that the Galvin Green brand fits our audience perfectly and can’t wait to showcase its products at our special 30th edition in August.”

The latest range from Galvin Green boasts the deepest collection of sustainable apparel on the market. Headlining the collection are the fully waterproof GORE-TEX ALISTER jacket for men and full-zip ALLY jacket for women. Galvin Green also offers a comprehensive cresting service for corporate golf clothing.
