Galvin Green assembles its strongest tour player lineup for 2022

Leading high-performance apparel brand Galvin Green has assembled its strongest ever Tour player lineup of global ambassadors for the 2022 season, with the addition of proven elite golfers playing on the PGA, DP World and LPGA Tours.

 

The Swedish brand’s ultra-lightweight and highly breathable clothing will be worn by five star players on the PGA Tour for the forthcoming season. Two-time champion Troy Merritt will be sponsored for the sixth consecutive year, while Lanto Griffin will continue to wear the stylish garments offered by Galvin Green, having placed two top-10 finishes in 2021.

 

Also wearing Galvin Green on the PGA Tour is Glasgow-born Martin Laird, who prevailed in a playoff to win the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open for the second time in 2020, former San Diego State college golfer JJ Spaun and Brett Drewitt, who secured his playing rights after a strong season on the Korn Ferry Tour.

 

Americans Theo Humphrey, George Cunningham and Corey Shaun will also be wearing the brand’s clothing on the Korn Ferry Tour, as they look to push their playing careers forward.

On the DP World Tour, Englishman Jordan Smith and Spaniard Santiago Tarrio are the latest additions to the five-strong group of players that form Team Galvin Green playing in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East on a regular basis. Smith won his maiden Tour title in a thrilling playoff at the Porsche European Open in 2017, while Tarrio secured two wins on the European Challenge Tour in 2021. Both players will wear a number of sporty outfits that deliver the highest levels of performance in all playing conditions.

 

Laurie Canter has re-signed with the brand after another promising season in search of his first Tour win, along with Sweden’s 2018 Volvo China Open winner Alexander Björk, who secured a T2 finish at the DP World Tour Championship in November. Chris Paisley will also

wear Galvin Green outfits in 2022, Lucas Vacarisas and Lorenzo Scalise look to make the next step in their playing careers wearing the high-quality garments on the European Challenge Tour.

American Mina Harigae joins Team Galvin Green and leads the brand’s presence on the LPGA Tour after five top 10s in 2021. She is joined by Scottish golfer Gemma Dryburgh. On the LET and LET Access Tours, Amy Boulden, Hazel MacGarvie, Corinne Viden and Reme Cortes will all wear a host of striking outfits throughout the 2022 season.
