FUJIKURA CAPS DOMINANT 2026 TOUR SEASON

Fujikura finished the 2026 Tour season as the most-used driver and wood shaft brand at all but one event, according to figures released by the company.

Its shafts were used in the drivers of 15 different winners across 17 victories, including two Major Championships and two elevated events. At individual tournaments, Fujikura’s share of the driver shaft count reached as high as 47 per cent.

VENTUS Black was the most-used individual shaft profile on Tour during the season. Fujikura also reported that VENTUS was played by 14 of the top 30 golfers in strokes gained off the tee and six of the top 10 in average driving distance.

The company’s 17th victory of the campaign came at the season-ending championship in Atlanta, where the world number one secured a three-shot win against a field featuring the Tour’s leading 30 players.

“Obviously the wins are hugely important, but seeing Fujikura as the No.1 driver and wood shaft at all but one tournament is something we are particularly proud of,” said Pat McCoy, Director of Tour Operations at Fujikura.

“It shows the level of trust players have in our products week after week. We are constantly working with players and their teams to understand what they need from a shaft, and the success of VENTUS and VeloCore+ this season is a great reflection of that work.”

VENTUS and VENTUS TR models featuring VeloCore+ technology accounted for seven Tour victories. Fujikura said the VENTUS TR Black with VeloCore+ also made an immediate impact, with two players winning within two weeks of changing to the new model.

The brand was the most-used driver and wood shaft manufacturer at all four men’s Majors in 2026. That followed a 2025 season in which Fujikura became the first specialist driver shaft brand to be used by the winner of all four men’s Majors in the same year.

At the final Major of 2026 in Southport, the champion used a VENTUS TR Black 6-X with VeloCore+ in his driver, a VENTUS Black 8-X in his three-wood and a VENTUS Blue 10-X in his utility iron. Four of the top five finishers also carried Fujikura shafts, while six of the past eight men’s Major champions have used the brand in their drivers.

For retailers and fitters, the results provide another strong Tour-validation story around the VENTUS family. Fujikura supports the range through its network of Charter Dealers, with local fitters listed through the dealer locator on the company’s website.
