Foremost and Golf Pride promo grips the pro shops

Professionals around the country in the Foremost Elite Marketing Programme (EMP) have found the recent Golf Pride MOT Your Game promotion so successful that many have decided to extend it, while others have opted to run a range of similar re-grip promotions at various times during the coming year.

Golf Pride sponsored the MOT Your Game promotion allowing golfers to get three free grips on their woods when they purchased nine new grips for their irons. Despite difficult trading conditions, participating Foremost EMP members saw their re-grip turnover increase by an average of more than seven percent compared to February 2013 when a similar MOT promotion was run.

Commenting on the promotion’s success, Conor Dillon, director of sales and marketing EMEA for Golf Pride, said, “We were delighted with the response from Foremost members to the Golf Pride MOT Your Game promotion. It was the perfect platform for raising the awareness of the importance of re-gripping, which not only delivered a strong uplift in sales, but golfers ready to start the season with confidence in their hands.”
