FootJoy launches glove guide microsite

FootJoy has launched a new microsite to inform golfers about the importance of finding a properly-fitting golf glove and how this can enhance performance. Golfgloveguide.com incorporates instructional and experiential content, outlining the five most important aspects pertaining to a glove’s performance: equipment, grip, fit, durability and care.

FootJoy estimates that more than 50 percent of players are wearing the wrong-sized glove, often dismissing the glove’s importance as a piece of equipment and the associated benefits wearing the perfect glove can bring. The company says that a well-fitting glove can improve a player’s performance and provide valuable insight into the adjustments required in their grip and hand positioning. There is guidance on what your glove says about your swing (relating to the most obvious areas of wear) and when to change gloves.

Maria Bonzagni, senior director of marketing, FootJoy Gloves and Accessories said, “The make and fit of a golf glove can affect a player’s swing more than most realise. At FootJoy we’re dedicated to making the best golf gloves in the world. The care we take in their creation reflects a long-held philosophy that the right glove can mean as much to your game as the right ball or right club. The glove is not just an accessory but an essential part of every player’s game.” More at: www.golfgloveguide.com
