Ellis makes the switch to Champ

Champ Grips has announced that LET tour player Charlotte Ellis has switched to using its Champ C8 grips from another well-known brand.

Commenting on the change Ellis said, “It was that time of year again for me to change my grips, a small but important part of our golf equipment. When I visited the LET Tour truck the other week at the Holland Open, I spotted these new C8 grips by Champ and was curious. My first thought as I picked one up was how tacky they were, which instantly won my approval. It’s important for me as I struggle with very sweaty palms in humid conditions. I also loved the colours too! I’ve gone for Neon Pink on my woods and Neon Blue on my irons!

“I’m not easily impressed, but I’m really pleased I made the decision to change to Champ C8’s. They’re definitely the best grips I’ve tried. They’re very comfortable to use, they don’t fall short on feel and they meet my expectations on performance. Players and friends I’ve shown them to so far have been impressed too. I know how easy it is for people to get used to certain brands and are reluctant to change, but I guarantee they won’t be disappointed when they make the switch to Champ.”
