Club Car supports Solheim Cup teams

A fleet from Club Car has arrived at Golf Club St Leon-Rot, Germany ahead of The 2015 Solheim Cup. Provided by Club Car distributor Cart Care, the Official Golf Car Supplier to The 2015 Solheim Cup, the fleet of 177 vehicles is made up of 92 golf cars, 40 four-seater Villager 4 cars and 45 utility vehicles, which will be used to assist operations ahead of and during the biennial match.

Five Club Car vehicles will be provided for each team, including the team cars with patriotic branding, which will enable European captain Carin Koch, US captain Juli Inkster and their vice-captains to move quickly around the course in order to keep up with all of the action over the three days. Club Car has been associated with The Solheim Cup since 2003 and for the 2015 event, the company will also supply vehicles for all on-course television crews, as well as team and match officials.

Frank Ockens, CEO at Cart Care said, “Supplying a large fleet of vehicles is a major logistical operation, but the experience of the team at Cart Care has ensured the 177 vehicles are on-site and ready to ensure the smooth running of The Solheim Cup, which is expected to be the most televised event in women’s golf.” www.clubcar.tv
