Club Car rolls east

The National Azerbaijan Golf Club, the country’s first golf course, has acquired a fleet of Precedent i2 golf cars from Club Car, for customers’ use. The venue which is managed by Troon Golf, has 20 Precedent i2 vehicles, all fitted with the company’s Visage GPS technology

The interactive touch screen Visage platform provides golfers with hole-by-hole flyovers, course diagrams and yardages for each hole. The system also allows scores to be emailed after the round and can provide a live leaderboard during competitions. The technology is also being used by The National Azerbaijan Golf Club to take food orders from golfers while on the course and to remind them of any special offers in the clubhouse.

Philip Henderson, General Manager at The National Azerbaijan Golf Club, said, “Club Car is Troon Golf’s preferred supplier of electric golf vehicles so we knew that the products would be the perfect fit for this course.
