Callaway announces new partnership with Real Club Valderrama

Callaway, the #1 hardware brand in golf, has today announced a new partnership with Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande, Spain, one of the world’s finest golf clubs.

As part of this important new partnership, Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Balls – the official Golf Ball of the European Tour – will be used exclusively on Valderrama’s pristine practice facilities.

Callaway will also provide Valderrama with premium rental equipment, including the recently-launched family of Epic Drivers and Fairway Woods, Apex 21 Irons, Odyssey Putters, and become an exclusive hardware retail partner in the Golf Shop.

Designed by legendary golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Snr, and opened in 1974, Real Club Valderrama has become an iconic private members’ club, which also welcomes visitor-play.

It boasts a rich history in professional golf, having hosted The Ryder Cup, WGC-American Express Championship, Volvo Masters and Andalucia Masters.

Valderrama also continues to feature in all leading World Top 100 golf course rankings, and has consistently been rated as the #1 golf course in Spain, famed for its tight, twisting fairways, lined with cork and olive trees, immaculate conditioning, and its splash-shaped bunkering.

Commenting on the new partnership, Neil Howie, President and Managing Director of Callaway Golf EMEA, said: “Valderrama is revered by golf enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the game the world-over and we are proud to form this special new relationship, that I’m sure will grow and prosper over the coming years.”

Javier Reviriego, CEO of Real Club Valderrama, added: “I would like to personally welcome the Callaway brand to Valderrama. We pride ourselves on offering members, their guests and visitors the very best service, facilities and products to use, and working with Callaway gives golfers associated with Valderrama access to the very best equipment for their game.”
