Bushnell scores at The Open

Bushnell Golf reports that 96 percent of caddies and over 93 percent of players who use a rangefinder reported using a Bushnell rangefinders to prepare for The Open Championship last week at St Andrews. The survey was conducted by Sports Marketing Surveys Inc. Bushnell says the figures underline the trust that professionals at the highest levels of the game have in Bushnell Golf’s technology and the performance of its products. The figures further improve on the impressive stats seen at last year’s Open Championship, where 83 percent of caddies and 90 percent of players used Bushnell products.

It follows on from similar dominance for Bushnell products at The Players Championship earlier in the year, where 99 percent of players and 94 percent of caddies in the field used Bushnell products, including the eventual Champion and Bushnell Golf ambassador, Rickie Fowler.

Ghislain Mautin, sales and marketing director at Bushnell EMEA stated, “The results of this survey clearly illustrate Bushnell’s product superiority in the market and domination on tour. Even though these results exceed last-year’s impressive count with 90 percent of players, they do not come as a surprise to us, as each year, the best players in the world rely on our commitment to innovation and excellence to help them prepare to face world-class competition each week.” More at: www.bushnellgolf.eu
