Boost technology changing golf shoes

Adidas boost golf shoes experienced a UK market share increase of 66 per cent between January and August 2015. The brand also saw an average sales price rise of 13% compared to the previous year, meaning that retailers see a greater margin on each sale.

Since boost technology came to golf, it’s helped the likes of Dustin Johnson, Brandt Snedeker, Richie Ramsay and 5-time 2015 winner Jason Day to victories around the world.

A prominent figure throughout the season, Day ascended to the pinnacle of the sport in 2015, gracing the World number one spot after winning the BMW Championship in the FedEx Playoffs. A full adidas Golf athlete, Day has been passionate about the BOA technology in his boost footwear, going as far as to request the same technology in running shoes for himself and his family.
