Jones Global Sports, the owners of the heritage golf brand Bobby Jones, has announced that from December the Design and Sourcing departments for the brand will become internally managed. British born Vice President and Creative Director for Jones Global Sports, Sonia Cozzi, will be leading all creative efforts with immediate effect.
As Vice President and Creative Director for Jones Global Sports, Cozzi will be charged with ensuring that the company continues to push the overall creative direction and product development in order to solidify the brand’s position in the market as the “best of class”. Over the next few months, Sonia will work closely with Management Team to evaluate our current business and build an organisational structure that is efficient and effective.
By bringing the Design and Sourcing departments back in house, Jones Global Sports feels that it will be easier to adhere closely to design and development calendars, to meet important internal financial targets and to execute purchases more efficiently. These changes will ensure that Bobby Jones continues to build on the success of the last 25 years by readying itself for the future.
