BGL Golf expands its Club Car fleet

Golf course owner and operator BGL Golf has renewed and expanded its fleet of Club Car vehicles. In addition to 135 new Precedent 2 vehicles, BGL Golf has taken delivery of a number of utility vehicles including two of the new Carryall 500, which will serve a dual purpose as both marshal and refreshment vehicles.

The new and enhanced fleet has been distributed across the ten BGL Golf venues in the UK, including seven public pay-and-play centres. The Club Car after sales service includes visits to the golf venues plus onsite training for BGL staff to help ensure they are equipped to keep the full fleet operational every day.

Colin Mayes, BGL chief executive, said, “With growing interest from our customers, plus the attractive revenue potential for our retail teams, it is necessary to increase the quantity of vehicles with consumer demand. Our customers are accustomed to receiving a high standard of service at our venues and the Club Car brand matches this expectation, plus its excellent maintenance agreement ensures we receive added value from the deal.”
