Annabel Dimmock’s road to redemption has been a long one, but in just her eighth tournament back since returning from a career-threatening injury Annabel has captured her second LET title at The KPMG Women’s Irish Open.
Only last year, Annabel underwent a career-saving surgery to remove a bone in her hand, and had only played a limited schedule since then, but on just her eighth LET start she has returned to the winners circle once again.
Dimmock, who last won back in 2019 at the Jabra Ladies Open, went on to shoot the course record twice this week at Carton House. She took the lead after a stunning bogey free 66 (7-under) on Friday, and then followed it up with another bogey free 65 (8-under) on Saturday beating her course record from the day before.
Annabel only had two bogeys all week, and fired a 3-under 70 to enter a playoff which she won on the second playoff hole, jumping her up to #36 on the LET Order of Merit.

I worked really hard to get myself back, and I am proud of myself. You know, it’s not just me, it’s a lot of people, my team, my friends, my family, there’s a lot that goes in to get me back fit. There’s a lot of blood, sweat and tears. It’s not been easy for my family and everyone around me. But we’ve made it back. We’re good.
