Abacus dresses Solheim Cup Team

Abacus Sportswear, the Swedish technical clothing brand and pioneer of high-performance stretch waterproof fabrics, has dressed the European team in the previous four Solheim Cups and the 2015 event continues the company’s long-standing association with the competition.

Carin Koch, The 2015 European Solheim Cup Team Captain, has highlighted attention to detail, colour range and understanding the specific requirements of the players, as some of the key reasons behind the appointment of Abacus Sportswear as the Official Apparel Supplier to the team.

In its latest range of garments, Abacus has combined ‘casual chic’ activewear with traditional colours and has added bright, contrasting tones with sporty details. The colour combinations that the company offers are another huge positive for Carin, who explains: “Every element of the clothing has improved considerably since I was first involved in The Solheim Cup back in 2000. It was tough in the beginning to know what to do with colours, but since Abacus has come on board the clothing has developed so much and continues to get better and better each year.

“Abacus Sportswear’s unique selling point is its attention to detail and the in-depth knowledge and understanding it has of the European players. Being able to service every level of detail for the players is crucial, from sizing and fit through to the functionality of the clothes, which is something that Abacus does particularly well.” More at: www.abacussportswear.com
